Our Services Are Cost Effective
We recognize our duty to charge our clients fees that are fair and reasonable taking into account a number of factors such as our experience, reputation and ability, the time and labour required, the novelty and difficulty of the questions involved, the skill required to competently perform the legal service, the fee customarily charged in St. Kitts and Nevis for similar legal services, the amount of money (if any) involved and the time limitations imposed by the client or by the circumstances. We also consider the recommended minimum scale of fees prescribed by the St. Kitts Nevis Bar Association.
In carrying out our duty where possible we agree on fees with our clients upfront. Where a fixed fee is not appropriate, we agree upfront with our clients the alternate basis of compensation whether hourly rates or contingency fees.
